The Rhyme bowl is a reading quiz program designed to encourage recreational reading of a specific genre of literature, to improve reading comprehension,
and to share books through written and oral expression.
All first grade classes will participate in a literature study of nursery rhymes. At the completion of the unit, a qualifying test is given to determine which students will represent their class in the school nursery rhyme bowl. There will be 3 students on a team with a 4th as an alternate. During the bowl, students are asked question about various nursery rhymes. The team that accumulates the most points wins.
NOTE: The nursery rhymes packet was given to each student for this study.
 Our Nursery Rhyme bowl date is yet to be determined.
